This is the hottest X-Mas I can remember.

Last year was hot also. I have the ac cranked and a fan blowing on me at my computer desk.

Its fact denial. They have learned that they can garner attention and some can garner wealth by pretending a false reality is real.

Its amazing to me..... Religion, taught the way modern Evangelical Christianity is often taught, teaches this tool. If you can get a subset to believe in a silly falsity you can control much about how they act and what they do.
 
I would not mind some attention paid to the scientific issues regarding the change in climate and make an effort to reverse the man made part.

If that affects the economy, so be it. I would rather have a Enviroment climate than a super charged economy.

That's the good thing about man made global warming. Just what are you folks doing in Fla? You must be pumping out CO2 at an alarming rate...the vast majority of the nation clearly is not contributing as its in the middle of an Arctic Blast cold front with some temperatures reading -30F. Looks like they are going to have come down there and give you snowbirds some lessons or sell you some carbon credits or something. :) You could use the new pipe line running down from Canada to pump in some Arctic Air......

But look on the bite side....I am sure the new head of the EPA, Scott Pruitt will send emergency help right away with his declared war on climate change.

Realty: Looks like you will just have to suffer for the next 8 years. :clink:

You don't think the resources that go toward heating contribute to global warming?
 
cold chilly mornings though..I may be turning on the furnace soon..but not until I close the windows at night

It was -8 here last Saturday. About 35 now, so it's about t shirt weather again. But see, that's the thing. The looney's believe simply because it still gets cold that somehow negates the climate change debate. The fact's are, climate is changing at a more rapid rate, including more violent storms in both the spring and winter.

Hey, I know. Let's just do nothing until our environment becomes completely unsustainable for human life.
Yeaaaaaaah----that's the ticket!
