Is Trump's energy policy a nightmare for Putin?

Lots of fake news about a Putin Trump bromance with some of it being frankly absurd [see: Piss Gate].

Well, if that's the case Trump's plan to deregulate the energy sector to the tune of 50 trillion dollars is going to get the budding bromance off to a rocky start lol. That's 50 with a T, gotten mainly through deregulation and opening 'the people's land' to oil and gas exploration.

This absolutely will not help Vlad. Just the opposite, since the Russian economy is heavily dependent on gas and oil production.

But Americans will benefit from the good paying jobs and tax revenues, as will infrastructure, schools and etc.

Poor Vlad just got dumped. Maybe they have a globalist version of Match.com.

Nobody seems to have seen this -good call out.

It's quite possible that lifting the sanctions improves the Russian economy-
while also giving Russia access to high tech drilling ( that was taken away by the sanctions) for arctic drilling -
while at the same time improving the US economy.

Like I said a zillion times -looking at US/Russian relations as a zero sum game is a bad mistake.

It's what the IC leadership ( deliberately?) misses, and what McCain's and Grahams frothing willingly ignores.

Of course, oil price is Putin's number one priority. An Al Gorian Hillbag would have been to his benefit. That's why I"ve never bought into the leftwing State media's Putin puppet memes.

Putin's main goal was to delegitmize democracy, not defeat Hillbag.
