I think he qualifies a Villain, by comic book standards. A man determined to destroy America from within for his own personal benefit and to protect himself from the consequences of his lawlessness.
I would perhaps compare him to the comic character KingPin, but instead of using cunning and wile, like Kingpin uses, Trumps power is to weaponize 'mass stupidity in his followers'. Think of it more like a power to hypnotize but with people so dumb no hypnosis is needed, and only lies.
I say the above sincerely as i think that is how history will look back on this Trump era.
And i would give Trump credit for realizing 'Stupidity' could be wielded as such an effective weapon, despite the fact i think he stumbled in to it, after doing so many crimes and then realizing by simply calling them 'perfect' and 'deny them', the stupid would follow. Once he realized he has that power, then it was game on.
What should Trump's comic book name be? I am do not think StupidMan nails it enough.
