Is Sarah Palin really a Young Earth Creationism believer?

Chapdog

Abreast of the situations
If so casting a vote for Mccain/Palin is about the same as casting a vote for tom cruise or Scientology.

God made dinosaurs 4,000 years ago as ultimately flawed creatures, lizards of Satan really, so when they died and became petroleum products we, made in his perfect image, could use them in our pickup trucks, snow machines and fishing boats.

I certainly hope she isn't. The last thing we need is a high ranking supporter of religious dogma masquerading as science.

It doesn't matter. And republicans would vote for tom cruise so long as he was a supporter of the criminalization of abortion and hated queers and their attempts at marriage. He could talk all day long about the spaceship and thetans and so long as he through in "Abortion is bad Mmmmkay" he would get the republican vote.

Hmm... Yeah, that's why Romney won.

I seem to recall you stating, quite a few times, that the best thing that could happen to your party would be for the religious right to finally crash and burn and completely lose its power over it.

Wouldn't that make Sarah Palin the worst thing that could happen to your party, in your opinion? I haven't noticed you mentioning it.

Romney won in MASS. Place him in Alabama and he would have been KILLED in an election. Fuck up until he named Palin every major Republican said McCain could NOT pick a prochoice running mate. Were you asleep that week?

As much as i hate to say it matt damon has a point in his own convoluted way. McCain would be the oldest guy to ever go to the white house.. Palin has a GREAT shot at becoming president. If this woman is really a lunatic (and she would be if shes a young earth creationist) we are in serious shit with her in charge.

mccain fine... palin scary

Of course not. You got that from the major media. Dupe

no books were ever banned in Wasillia, no religion will be pushed into public schools. I would have liked to have had a good theology class though.

Every single accuasation toward Palin is merly speculaton by the American hatting, homosexual media mofia. I love to see them loose it.

There have been repeated attempts to get religion into schools.

There was a big attempt by Judge Roy Moore in Alabama. But it was mainly sidelined when he was tossed out for his attempt to put the monument to the 10 Commandments in the lobby of the state supreme court and allowed nothing else to be on display.

I dont care about religion in school. I had 4 years of bible class and daily prayer at East Catholic High. My math classes were taught by nuns.. I have nothing against Religion in school.

Its just odd to have someone so open about there whaco beliefs with a great shot at president.. I mean all religions are fucked but most of the people who becomes leaders of our country know deep down its bullshit and don't factor it into there decision making.

I have no problem with religion in private schools. But in public schools its a different matter.

But yeah, its surprising to see it.

Us "creationists" are nuts......OK.

Leaning, you can believe whatever you want. But to want that taught in a science class goes against the US Constitution.

And if you believe that the earth is only 4,000 years old and dinosaurs were created by satan.....well......yep, you are nuts.

Who gives a fuck?

Will impact her ability to lead? NO.

You libs are unbelievable. To you, this whole campaign comes down to how many houses McCain owns, Palin's pregnant daughter, and make-believe scandals.

I think her ignoring scientific evidence in favor of a mythological belief shows a great deal about her ability to lead.

It shows she will hold to her beliefs no matter what the evidence shows. It shows that she can ignore science. And it shows a general mindset that I would not want in charge.

Don't want creationism taught in schools. I can do that at home and at church. As to the second sentence I don't believe that either and neither do I think Palin believes it. When I looked at what was said and what was purported to have been said, the two looked very different. I think the far left (including Matt Damon) is grabbing on to this to try to smear this lady more.

And I believe that. Unfortunately it appears they have been given new life.

I'm sure you noticed by now that I still haven't endorsed McCain. That's because it isn't going to happen.

Bullshit. First off, there's as much evidence for the secular liberal worldview as for the existence of a tooth fairy. Secondly, what YECs believe has been entirely misrepresented in this thread. Millions of Americans believe the Earth is only 6,500 years old. Get over it.

Obviously, you're just desperate to find a reason to NOT vote for McCain/Palin. ;)

We do have massive mental health issues in America.
