Is Rep. Larry Kissell a racist?

Another North Carolina Democrat is refusing to support President Obama's reelection effort. This time it's Rep. Larry Kissell.

"[H]e doesn’t plan to endorse Obama for re-election and isn’t sure he’ll attend his party’s national convention in Charlotte," McClatchy reports. "Kissell represents the 8th District, which runs from Mecklenburg County to Robeson County. Last year’s redistricting added heavily Republican areas of Rowan, Davidson and Randolph counties while removing thousands of Democratic voters in Charlotte and Fayetteville."

Matt Connelly, a regional spokesman for the Republican National Committee, remarks on Twitter: "Rep. Kissell's (D-NC) district ends 9 blocks away from Bank of America Stadium, but he isn't sure if he'll attend the DNC."

Well, according to liberal "logic," anyone who disagrees with/opposes the President is a racist. It was Poet who made the claim, and his minions (Rune, Zap, etc.) went along with it. I wonder if they'll agree the Democrat mentioned above is a racist?

I've never even seen poet argue that by merely disagreeing w/ the President, you are racist.

Maybe there are a few who do that, but it's a small, small minority. Typically, conservatives have a very over-persecuted feeling about things....

I haven't either. I have, however, seen many bigoted statements made about the statement and have a opinion that the level of hatred against the president is due to his race.

As far as Kissel, meh...He's in a strong Republican district and has to please the voters. Once he's reelected he'll come back to earth.

really? i always apologize for romney? wow.....you need to work on your lies onceler. i've made numerous posts stating my opposition to several of romney's positions and beliefs. you are a true hack. when you can't win, you lie.

this isn't a faux thread. answer the question hack. is this racism? why is it when darla screams racism for the SAME thing, you are silent?
