A portrait of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was unveiled at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.

The big picture: The image of Pelosi — who broke a glass ceiling as the first woman to control the House of Representatives — is the first of a "Madam Speaker" to join the collection of portraits in the Speaker's Lobby.

I love Nancy. Reminds me of my Mom!

She ain't perfect, about the closest thing to it though! I never knew anyone who was perfect.

Greatest House Speaker in my lifetime!

She and my Mom make me proud to be a Democrat!

Most effective House speaker in my adult life, when you consider all the landmark infrastructure, economic stimulus, healthcare, gay marriage equality, and climate change bills that passed under her leadership.

Give it ten years. Nobody will remember who the fuck Pelosi was. For example, when FDR was president who was Speaker of the House? No, don't bother to look it up, you don't know and neither do I. Pelosi will be long forgotten a decade after she leaves Congress.

FDR was in the 1930s. Do you remember Boehner, Gingrich, Tip O'Neill, Sam Rayburn. She is the first woman speaker. She will go down in history.

Even though it's been decades, you really don't remember who Tip O'Neil and Newt Gingrich are?

And the fact is Pelosi was responsible for substantially more landmark legislative initiatives than either of them ever were.

Enough of the land has been destroyed in the name of ego and greed. Mt. Rushmore should not be repeated anywhere for anyone...ever again.

That image of her kneeling for 8 minutes and 46 seconds is truly vomit inducing, especially when she couldn't get up again.
