'The United States Must Be Held Accountable': Iran Rejects Cease-Fire Talks as War Rages On

Iran has doubled down on its rejection of cease-fire talks, insisting that the United States is “responsible” for the war and its far-reaching impact.

"This war is not our war. We did not start it. The United States started it and is responsible for all the consequences of this war, human and financial, whether for Iran, for the region, or for the entire world,” said Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. “The United States must be held accountable."

Araghchi firmly denied U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that Iran is ready to negotiate a cease-fire to end the war that is now in its 19th day.

“We are not seeking a cease-fire because we do not want this scenario to be repeated again after some time. Rather, we want the war to end completely and permanently,” said Araghchi, insisting that the U.S. must “put an end to its aggression.”

What the hell is your point here? Of course Iran rejects Cease-fire talks. Are you siding with Iran here in that they say they want the war to end? Of course they want the war to end before their entire ISRC gets demolished, which it is well on its way to be completely demolished under Trump's successful foray into eliminating that evil Islamic reign.

Will Trump cut and run, and just unilaterally declare-victory?

The Iranians are saying they reject Trump's offer of ceasefire and are preparing to wage a long term asymmetric war.

Trump is claiming the war will end soon, which sounds like he is just getting ready to cut and run

Trump says the Iran war will end ‘very soon’ – but it is not clear how

Donald Trump has said he thinks the war with Iran will be over soon. In a phone interview with CBS News on Monday, March 9, the US president said: “I think the war is very complete, pretty much … we’re very far ahead of schedule.”

This seemed to mark a shift in tone from earlier statements in which Trump had insisted the war would continue until Iran’s “unconditional surrender”. Given Tehran’s defiant tone and continuing missile and drone campaign throughout the region, such a scenario doesn’t seem to be on the cards.

Trump’s remarks appear to have been designed to calm the anxiety ..

You and Trump foolishly thought the Islamic regime would just quickly collapse and be run out of town. That was a Neocon pipe dream.

Instead, the regime has consolidated power, selected a leader even more hardline than the elder Khamenei was, and is preparing to wage a long term asymmetric war against the United States.

Never trust a Neocon

Of course they aren't.

They saw tRump begging for help and being rejected.

He looks weak, like a loser.

He's making us look weak as a country too.

tRump may be blowing more shit up, but Iran is winning anyway.

The MAGAts are all gonna jump on this and screech at the top of their lungs that I am supporting terrorists, but I'm not.

I'm pointing out the political realities.

Soon he will claim it will just disappear, like magic.

Trump never thought the Islamic regime would quickly collapse. We currently have some of that Islamic regime now in N.Y.C. under the anti American pro Islamic mayor mamdani. The only pipe dream we currently have in the US is the leftist dream that of collaborating with every Islamic nation that seeks to destroy the Western nations. You libs always side with America's enemies.

Trump never thought the Islamic regime would quickly collapse!
After the opening US-Israeli strikes, Trump told the Iranian people that their “moment of freedom” is at hand.

“When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take,” he said, suggesting that the US will take down the Iranian regime.

There is talk now that Jared Kushner should be brought before Congress and questioned about how he sabotaged the Iranian peace talks.

ME countries are screaming that they paid Trump for protection and instead their countries are being bombed.

The USA has become a detriment to the world.
Trump and his cult followers wanted war. Period. They are Neocons.

If I were a Qatari, Kuwaiti, Emerati citizen I would be shocked that Trump and his MAGA morons dragged me into their war.
