Creationists like Men Ham and Mike Behe are the lowest of the low. They are more interested in a mailing list and fleecing the flock than in truth. And dullards still send them money. Hell, in Kentucky they are building a full size replica of the ark!

I tried to read Of Pandas and People a few years ago, just to understand where those people are coming from. It was impossible to finish... turgid, illogical, completely lacking in basic science. I pity the poor kids who get this shoved down their throats.

not missing much. Al was forced to admit he was lying in it but thought it was justified to get people's attention. Real point being zealots can be blinded by message. And when you start with a fixed end that you refuse to deviate from even in the face of impediments that cannot be surmounted, you are not going to be accepted.
 
Mr Gore lying or not lying is irrelevant. He is a politician and not a scientist. When the right can provide actual climate science to the debate, I will listen. Until then, deniers go in the tinfoil hat brigade with the creationists and the astrologers.

Ok. It is not possible for CO2 to act as a greenhouse gas without violating 4he 2nd law of theromodynamics. It is possible for one gas identified as a greenhouse gas to do so. It is HO2 (water) because it has the unique ability to change its state in free atmosphere (gas to liquid or back).

Though Anthropogenic climate change and The theory of biological evolution are both often attacked by uninformed neophytes with a religeous agenda that they are determined to undermine. Why they want to undermine sound and accepted science with their idiotic version of psuedoscience is interestingly explained by the article references.
 
Over here, most of us find it impossible to believe that anyone over there really supposes this nonsense to be 'true' in the same way their breakfast is. Surely it is only pretend, to make money from other cynical pretenders?
