Earnings have been decent, but inflation is still growing.

Inflation is up but still lower than expected.

Groceries seem to be much higher.

There’s also “sneakflation” which is not reflected in the numbers. Portion sizes of many products are just a bit smaller, but the price remains the same. You’re paying more, but it doesn’t show in the statistics.
