The tome is on a suggested reading list parents can access through the website TeachingBooks. It is part of the “Universal Mosaic Independent Reading Collections” for kindergartners created by the DOE’s Library Services, the site says.
Brooklyn parent leader Vito LaBella called the text “inflammatory.”
“That page alone in my mind is just preaching hate,” he said, referring to the text about sorting people by skin color.
LaBella said at least one school in southwest Brooklyn’s District 20, where he’s a member of the Community Education Council, received the books. The principal had been told by former Schools Chancellor Meisha Porter they would be coming. They were to be delivered to kindergarten classes, but the principal was holding off, he added.

I would never have imagined that a specific ethnicity that pretty much died fighting to make this country what it is today would be attacked and demonized on a regular basis and accused of racism and oppression of minorities.The other thing that's baffling is, that ethnicity puts up with it. Of course they are brainwashed Democrat far left loons, so it makes sense. I really don't care what the Democrats do in their own Democrat run cities and States, it is offensive that they try to push this nonsense on to the Red states. We seem to need our own real teachers in Red states and they can keep their twisted woke teachers in Democrat States.

Racially divisive bullshit. I was blessed to have gone through school before all that crap came about.

My 1st day of kindergarten I was a white fuckin' spot.

That's yesterdays Sno-Ball (from the Ice Cream Man) wooden spoon and a pack of sugared Kool-Aid. I was actually jealous of kids that had that; And several did. :laugh:

With my allowance, I could get a pack of 10 Pixie Stix twice a week, but some kids had sugar every day.
