Indictment Requiem

Let's see what they say when the next indictment comes down - "find me enough votes to overturn the election" in Georgia.

This would not have happened to anyone who wasn't Donald Trump?

That's true. No one but Trump would have the arrogance, monstrous ego and contempt for the American way to try it.

Not so. The course America takes is in the hands of Republicans now. If they choose the course they took after the 2020 election, history will remember them — not Manhattan’s district attorney — as the instruments of American destruction.

Trump has threatened violence. DeSantis has said he would block extradition - which is beyond the constitutional power of a state governor. Carlson and friends are playing to their public, as usual.

Who in the GOP will stand up for the rule of law?

So what's new? The Repubs do not care about the law. It is the little people who pay for law-breaking. Madoff paid because he robbed other rich people. Fleecing the sheep is a Repub sport. They are good at it.

Perhaps, but Trump never tried it. He made America really awesome.

Those who have the arrogance and ego to believe they are above the law and who hate the American way enough to try to destroy it are all leftists.

Trump is all about Trump, he don’t give a rat’s ass about America, Americans, or anything but himself. Any means are acceptable if the end is to benefit Trump, regardless of consequences, it has always been his Golden Rule

Actually, it's not. Extradition is a state issue, and states block extradition pretty regularly. Look at "sanctuary" states, cities, etc. Same thing, different crime. Many states won't extradite on their dime either. They make the state wanting the person to come and get them paying all expenses including incarceration if that is the case.

There are 4 possible ways to refuse an extradition request''
1. The documents are not in order
2. The state asking has not yet charged the person
3. the person is not the one they requested be exonerated
4. The person is not a fugitive.
If after Tuesday, Trump does not show, New York has to do all the paperwork. Then they are entitled to extradition.
