SHARE The US military has awarded an $80 million contract to a prominent Saudi financier who has been indicted by the US Justice Department. The contract to supply jet fuel to American bases in Afghanistan was awarded to the Attock Refinery Ltd, a Pakistani-based refinery owned by Gaith Pharaon. Pharaon is wanted in connection with his alleged role at the failed Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI), and the CenTrust savings and loan scandal, which cost US tax payers $1.7 billion.

But he is going to sell us Jet Fuel! So he can't be all bad. Terrorism Schmerrorism right guys. Maybe if Ayers can get his hands on a refinery and sell the military jet fuel we can all forgive him.
 
I wonder if Fox News will cover Bush's ties to this terrorist, with the same fervor they covered that radical 60s guy no one's ever heard with respect to obama?

That's absolutely dispicable an inexcusable. Who the fuck was in charge of granting him the contract?

an excellent question. You would think ABC might have mentioned that part. Was this a no-bid contract? But more importantly... who awarded it?

Surely there is another refinery we can get the jet fuel from.
