Hilarious. the teacher's unions are huge donors to the despotic DEMOCRAT Party, and they unquestionably propagandize children with leftist theories.

Pointing out that the DEMOCRATS and their financial enablers in the public education monopsony are doing what Hitler said totalitarians do is nothing to apologize for.

Trump's supporters wore swastikas to the Capitol riot. I'm not surprised that they're quoting Hitler too. I'm sure they're even worse when they're not in public. Nazis gonna nazi.

He also said (paraphrasing) "Once the state (Hitler) has control of the young, they will never be free."

In both cases he was referencing and hinting at the use of the state to control the population though mandatory public education with no alternatives (teacher's unions and others on the Left want this), mandatory participation in government led youth organizations while banning alternatives (in his case Hitler Youth-- but the Soviet Young Pioneers and the like are the same thing-- while outlawing private groups like the Boy Scouts), a politicized and propagandized education curriculum (like Critical Pedagogy, Social and Economic justice, or more recently using the 1619 Project as "history" when it isn't any such thing).

So, what Miller was railing against was the Left increasing control over society.
