if the feds feel you shouldn't own something historical

they'll just come and take it, at the point of 100 guns

FBI agents Wednesday removed "thousands" of cultural artifacts, including American Indian items, from the private collection of a 91-year-old Rush County man who had acquired them over the past eight decades.

An FBI command vehicle and several tents were spotted at the property in rural Waldron, about 35 miles southeast of Indianapolis.

However, the FBI was careful not to say whether they believed the man, Don Miller, had knowingly broken any laws. The FBI's aim is to catalog the artifacts and return them to their countries of origin.

"We're collecting and analyzing with the goal of repatriation," FBI Special Agent Drew Northern said.

Robert A. Jones, special agent in charge of the Indianapolis FBI office, would not say at a news conference specifically why the investigation was initiated, but he did say the FBI had information about Miller's collection and acted on it by deploying its art crime team.

FBI agents are working with art experts and museum curators, and neither they nor Jones would describe a single artifact involved in the investigation, but it is a massive collection. Jones added that cataloging of all of the items found will take longer than "weeks or months."

The FBI and its partners might have a daunting task determining the origins and provenance of all of the items, Thom predicted.

"It may be 30 years — or never — before they have it all cataloged."

so basically, they have zero proof that there was any crime committed, yet were empowered to invade the mans home and steal his property with the propagandized intent of 'repatriating' the items which could take decades.

police state yet?

Could you point out the part of "100 guns"; because I've read the article and I saw nothing about guns?

I post a story of a man who's house has been invaded and his private property seized, even though the feds admit he has not committed a crime, and the ONLY thing you have an issue with is the article I posted doesn't have the '100 guns' entry in it?

Well; it does seem that it's what you usually fixate on and since it appeared to be important to you, I thought you would want it addressed.

So you are okay with no longer being secure in your person, house, papers and effects?

Please have your computer checked; because I think you've been hacked, seeing as how I could find nothing that suggested what you're apparently attempting to respond to.
