If the DNC hacked emails were benign, would Democrats care?

Seems this is more about getting caught than anything. I wonder if the GOP emails were hacked, but there was no dirt, so nothing was aired.

They were benign..
they just showed a Clinton campaign struggling unsuccessfully trying to find a message
and a $1billion campaign that couldn't construct a decent candidate out of a serial liar beset by internal mass confusion
