BREAKING: Renowned Yale Professor Timothy Snyder reveals exactly why Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants Donald Trump to win in 2024 — and it’s truly chilling.

During an appearance on MSNBC's The Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell, Snyder was asked about the fact that Trump “agreed with Russia's attacks on the United States.”

“I think you hit on a crucial point. Everyone knows that Russia has a system where political opponents are put into prison,” said Snyder.

“What Putin is trying to do fundamentally is say, everyone is as bad as us,” Snyder explained. “The rule of law is a joke everywhere. Americans are no better than Russia. That is his fundamental line. He wants to think that there is no freedom, no democracy, nothing to value anywhere.”

“Putin's claim is that all systems are rotten, everyone's system is rotten. Trump helps him out with that,” he added.

Snyder hit the nail on the head. Nothing destroys the global image of America quite like electing a known criminal like Donald Trump to the presidency.

Putin and XI dont care who gets installed as President.....they have given up on us....we are going to be removed from global power so that the abuse of the world at Americas hands can stop.
 
Anything said about what Putin wants for President, whether it is from Putin or from this guy should be ignored. Vote for the folks you think are best for America and ignore anything Putin has to say. Foreign leaders don't get a vote, they are just trying to mess with the election and Putin specifically loves to add chaos to the picture.

I would prefer we had choices other than two super old white guys, at least one with brain issues.

Putin had more power than a vote. He had an organization that was directed to help Trump beat Hillary. He was spending 100 K a month on a hacking group to trash Hillary and push Daffy Donald. He worked with Trump's election organization to win.

Geebus. Not at this time. According to the DNC there will be no primary regardless of folks that want to run just because they've decided that such democratic things as voting on candidates is a "danger to democracy".... and because they keep indicting Trump in a clearly political fashion weaponizing the justice department they've started a movement that will have Trump as the nominee.

You may vote for someone else, I will, but as things stand right now one of those two men will be President in 2025.

There are other parties you can vote for you know. I believe we will have five on the ballot this election

There will be more than 5, and I will vote for one of them, that will not change what I said. If nothing at all changes one of the two will become President of these United States.

Incumbents often have very little competition from other party members. The power of incumbency is proven by the 94 percent winning percentage of those in office. Trump is a loser. Biden beat him.
 
To respond to the thread, Putin knows Trump is the worst threat to the continuation of the American experiment since the War of 1812. He fits exactly what Putin wishes on us. He wants America to crumble. Trump may be able to do the job.

The fact that Putin and China want Trump to be president speaks volumes about Trump and the danger he poses to America.
