Why is a warzone not safer? Why are places with some gun control safer? Why is the 2nd amendment such touchy stuff, when a one man arsenal of death, has nothing to do with well regulated anything. Take regulated to it's truest meaning, and it means controlled. Like how opiates are regulated better, after the addiction epidemic. Regulating means to tweak, and adjust for the better. In an essence the very thing the 2nd speaks of, it's worshipers trample on. If we can't regulate a militia, the 2nd is pointless. Even in the military, you aren't just given access to assault rifles, and yet any drunken slob, can have one for home. Thanks NRA for letting yourself be taken over by money interests. Some old timers used to be quite proud of being in the NRA, but many have abandoned ship, from the old days. It's almost like you can't be passionate about guns anymore, unless you give everyone the hand to talk to, whenever gun control is brought up. I bet you'd be considered a traitor if you thought assault weapons should be regulated.

Will, not guns, is what makes people safer...the will to defend one's self. There's a saying, that owning a gun doesn't make you armed. I think there's truth to it.

Conversely, will is what's necessary to do harm to the innocent. In either case, the gun is not the thing. But, if you truly do have the will to defend yourself, you'll buy a gun, train with it, and carry it. There are some situations that require them, and you don't get to choose if or when they happen in your life.

In Wisconsin, gun deer hunting is currently underway. Hundreds of thousands of hunters will be out in the woods carrying firearms for 9 days. I'll get back to you with the numbers of people who get killed when it's over, dumbfuck.

In a war zone, people are trying to kill each other you fucking retard. Do you think when wars were fought with swords people didn't get killed?
