I won't be here making excuses for him - I'll be here saying that he needs to do better, and lead.

So why are so many making excuses for Trump? What was Warp Speed supposed to be? The scientists delivered the vaccine in record time - not Trump. He eased some restrictions and provided some funding, but these things are Presidency 101. Anyone would have done them.

When the vaccine is ready, THAT is when we need a President's executive power and skills. That's the time to really lead - to MAKE IT HAPPEN. That's the nature of an executive position.

The pace of vaccinations is anemic, and Trump is absent. When he's not golfing or complaining about losing the election, he's blaming everyone else and making excuses - a real specialty of his. He has so much power to change the world right now, and he's punting.
 
It is estimated that at this vaccination warp speed, we will reach herd level in 10 years. Good job Trumpy.

It appears that the major problem is lack of willingness to take the vaccine , not the supply of vaccine.

There are also not enough people available to vaccinate the millions who are certainly willing to get it at this point.

People not wanting to get it is NOT the problem right now.

I find it difficult to believe there’s not a sufficient number of medical personnel to give IM injections. Even if it is the issue I’m not sure how you can pin that on Trump.

I realize it doesn’t square with your persistent pin the tail on Trump strategy but the states are largely responsible for distribution of the vaccine.
