These are the kind of lifeboats that were used on the oil rig that blew up.

I want one.

They make one for 48 people.
I wonder if they could take out most of the seats, convert it to also run on electricity with solar panels and batteries, and add more food/water storage??

My understanding is that they're virtually unsinkable and with the extra food and such.
I might just make a cool ocean going vacation boat.
It's not going anywhere fast; but it might still be cool.
