I Just Met Dennis Kucinich

This reminds me of a time when I was younger. I was at a USFL football game. The team owned by Burt Reynolds was in Oakland visiting the Invaders. I had just gone to the restroom and I could hear a commotion in the tunnels going to the box seats. Well, I got back to my seat. A few minutes later the near drunk who was sitting behind me got back to his seat. He sat down and the first words out of his mouth to his friend were, "I just shook Burt Reynolds hand. I saw him walking through the doorway between tunnels and I got to shake his hand."

Well, the guy was filthy and the only thing I could think of was, "Well, I will bet that was the last time he washes that hand."

Cypress, I pray you will wash your hand someday soon. :D

Okay, calm down guys. I didn't see her. And she's a brilliant woman, you should read her bio. He didn't marry her just cause she's pretty. She's an amazing gal.

Anyway, this is pretty funny. While I only chatted to kucinich for like two minutes, my buddy sat right next to him on the plane, for the WHOLE trip. What a gyp. And Dennis was evidently a blabber mouth, chatting to my buddy the whole time. My buddy didn't even really know who Dennis was-- while I would have totally dug spending an hour chatting to Kucinich. I got totally gyped. :cof1:

PS: Dennis is a shrimp. I towered over him.

Isn't that the way it is, my daughter was at a fishing lodge with General Swartzkopf a year after the Gulf War. I was very envious.
 
Umm I met Fred Thornton.
He just bought the country store a few miles down the road. He is certain to have a bigger impact on my life than Kukinich.

And I met a very hot teacher at the local Vo-Tech school about a week ago. 32, hot, smart, father owns a chain of stores. And seems to be crazy about me, which makes me worry about her sanity a bit....

You guys can hero worship and dream if you want :)
I try to deal in reality, much more rewarding.

Figured. He's got a lot of the "rely on the state" tendancies of older liberals.

I'm extremely happy that, at least in my state, the younger generations have been much more distrustful of the government than their predecessors. Libertarian thought is definitely dominate, though most don't self identify that way.
