The point is that this interview happened the day before Carney trotted out the bogus lines about the YouTube video. CBS deliberately edited out this information from their broadcast. Additionally, even with all of the furor it took them until now to release this relevant information. So either CBS is grossly incompetent, amazingly uncurious or majorly in the tank for the regime.

Ask yourself this question. If this were Bush in office, how long do you think it would take for CBS to get this information to their viewers?
