I hate the month before the conventions

Mott the Hoople

Sweet Jane
Particularly this year. As a bonafide political junkie it's just been dead. Though I will give props to our neighbors across the pond for all the countless laughs Brexit has generated.

Still, if it wasn't for Brexit we'd be gnawing on bones sucked clean and tramping our feet in anticipation of the Veep sweepstakes. So between then and now the two campaigns are going to focus on fund raising and organization and leaving us to speculate as to who they will choose for a job that isn't worth a warm bucket of spit.

Given the incredible high comedy of the primary season it bodes well for even more during the general and I for one can't wait.

Let the games begin!

The ongoing political drama in the UK has been a boon that is for sure. Who knew the Guardian's live feed would have prove so entertaining? Gove's speech this morning was hilarious. And Tom's "humor" is a piss poor example of Brit humor, they are actually quite funny and sometimes I crack up reading the comments.

But, as they say about " the Americans' there - no need to laugh, you yanks still have a Trump card to play come November.

Isn't it the truth.

Yes indeed. Most of the comedy has come from the Trumpster and Bernie Bros et.el. When is Hillary going to start adding to the laughs?

I'm hoping she'll announce some sort of policy position that would be totally emasculating. That should be worth a chuckle or two.
