I found out yesterday that I am "alt-right", and I'm okay with it

Callinectes

Proud MAGA Semi-Facist
And I would even venture to say most conservatives are "alt-right", too. Most "republicans" would recoil from that label like a vampire recoils from garlic, but that's only because they have bought in to the "bat shit crazy-left" definition of the term.

I particularly like two points in this article: "But I do think there's an increasing white consciousness and awareness. And I think the political left helped create it." Hell yes, there is!
And this one: "Civil rights policies that seemed to stack the deck too much in favor of minorities stoked white resentment, while the code of political correctness barred white students from complaining of unfairness lest they be labeled racist. "I had seen the convergence of issues that were creating and were going to create a devil's brew for racial unrest—unless we moved away from identity politics and multiculturalism," Swain told me. Instead, America recommitted to identity politics with a vengeance during the Obama years. That "devil's brew" finally coalesced: "The missing ingredient was Obama."
This is not coming from the grand dragon wizard exalted cyclops of the kkk, either. Carol Swain is a retired Vanderbilt University professor(who happens to be a Southern black woman who quit the democrat party and became a born again Christian).

they are divisive, but so is alt-right. They should both be rejected by Americans

Agreed. He overdid it with identity politics- by a lot. Obama- Trump. Yin and Yang.

Oh, so you're on board with the idea that I find identity politics and multiculturalism distasteful and a refuge for morons, but that doesn't mean I'm a racist? Got it!(are you alt-right too?)

The Alt Right grand wizards (Bannon and his ideological mentor, Sessions) both occupy space in the White House.

Callinectes would you read an article about how being a liberal isn't actually about trying to suppress free speech, or being a sensitive millennial? Each person has their own views on what their political leanings mean. If you need to tell yourself that the Alt-Right isn't so bad because reasons, then do it. Don't expect us to suck your dick about it.

Thanks SMK! Frankly, I thought desh might be the first one to mesh the alt-right with the white supremacists and white nationalists, but she's just another useful, feral idiot. And this is the definition of "alt-right" that has been co-opted by the alt-bat-shit-crazy-left. Tell me, are you really so close-minded and prejudiced as to believe that anyone could have grievances against the purveyors of identity politics and multiculturalism, yet not harbor hatred?

That you have finally come to the same conclusion is no surprise...
