That whole hearing was an embarrassment to what used to be the the Department of Justice and Congressional Committees

Bondi refused to answer multiple questions and anytime someone asked her something she didn’t like she flipped thru her binder as if it was a Rolodex and read some Fox talking point attempting to change the subject. Inbetween the charade, anytime the opportunity arose, she nauseously credited Trump with just about everything imaginable. She’s a shill

Best exchange, after multiple times deflection saying she couldn’t remark on ongoing investigations, was when she was asked then why can Trump endlessly remark on ongoing investigations. Her response was she doesn’t respond on personal questions

They didn’t, they subpoenaed phone records of eight Senators suspected of contributing to secondary organizations that were funding 1/6, Smith was investigating January 6th, duh

If these were eight Democratic Senators, you would be crawling up the wall.

Yes, they were investigating the groups funding 1/6 and the Senators had connections to the groups

You are aware this isn’t new, Grassley delivered his “bombshell” last month and it was revealed as a nothingburger. He is doing again now cause he got TV time in the Bondi hearings, nothing new

Really, they been at for nine months and only have one shakey case that most likely will be thrown out before it even goes to Court

The FBI didn't tap phones of US Senators. In investigating the the Jan 6th attacks, they got the phone records of those involved and it led to phone metadata of US Senators that were in contact with the criminals from Jan 6 who attacked the US Capitol.

The information obtained allowed them to see date and time of calls. That is not a phone tap and the Supreme Court has said that information doesn't require a court order. But in the case of the US Senators they did get a court order before looking at the metadata.

Were these US Senators warned they were the subject of an investigation?

Would it be just swell if 8 Democratic Senators had their phone calls monitored, who they called, where they were, how long they spoke?

This was, of course the prelude to actual wire taps, monitoring the actual conversations.

Spying on US Senators is un-American.

How about the Catholics who were surveiled?

Those Catholic Churches that were surveilled? Those Catholic Churches are a hotbed of terrorism, right?

Parents who attended school board meetings too. They were put on a terrorist watch list.

And parents at board meetings were being checked out, when do police not check out when physical threats are violently leveled against school board members?
