I have said for a long time that Socialist inSecurity and Mediscare are nothing more than welfare programs. They aren't perceived that way by their beneficiaries because they falsely believe that they are only receiving that which they have paid. I always chuckle when I hear a prole say "I paid into the system" and yes those proles are not just libtards, but self described libertarians and conservatives who are no less susceptible to the seduction that is socialism.

As the attached tables show, for years recipients of these programs have gotten WAY more than they have ever "paid into the system". Where did that money come from? Taxpayers.

They are welfare programs. Period.

Don't you believe in getting a return on your investments ?
And what about all those that paid in an died before getting anything or anything close to what they were forced to invest ? They certainly couldn't leave
that investment to their heirs....
And after all is said and done, the system is still solvent for years to come.....but because of SSI and those collecting that should not be, it is
fast becoming a 'welfare' program........

And to be totally fair, I can see it from your perspective too though I think welfare is more accurate that socialist....even if both are roots of the same tree.

Neither Socialist inSecurity or Mediscare are supposed to be investments. Now to be completely fair, Socialist inSecurity promised a 3% return. Mediscare never promised any such thing.
