It's always so sad when you are forced to watch the ugly and vulgar destruction of a cherished cultural tradition of great value.
Yet this is what was on display in large, unwashed mobs of Islamists and American students who were protesting/rioting outside such venerable institutions of Higher Education as: Harvard; Yale; Colombia; Stanford; GWU and others.
These young morons were shouting "Death to America" and burning "Stars 'n' Bars" flag; chanting and signalling their ardent support for the Palestinian Terrorist Organisation, "HAMAS"; calling for a Jewish genocide and engaging in various different forms of antisemite racism (including physically threatening and in cases assaulting Jewish students at the protests.
When periodically interviewed by media journalists these protesting students demonstrated that they had no read knowledge or understanding of the recent shocking terrorist attack by HAMAS on Israel nor any concept of the broader historical context of the ongoing Islamic Palestinian - ISRAELI conflict. And these were IVY LEAGUE students - young people one would expect NOT to have shit for brains. What happened? To answer the question of how academic standards when down the toilet at America's very best Ivy League universities, we just need to check out Harvard's former-Principle, the amazing CLAUDINE GAY.
THE REMARKABLE Dr CLAUDINE GAY
In early January of this year thr Principle of Harvard University, Claudine Gay, was forced to stand down following a number of scandals. To begin with Gay was a Black who was a lacklustre scholar, having only a slim body of published work at the time she was appointed Principal. It subsequently turned out that a good portion of "Gay's" work was plagiarised (a high crime in the academy !). After joining the faculty at Harvard in 1997, Gay built a massive "Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) bureaucracy and used it for her own ascent up the ranks at Harvard, and it is obvious that she was ultimately selected for the role as Principal in order to serve as a symbol for DEI ideology.
Gay came to grief when she and three other University Principals were summoned to appear before a Congressional House Committee investigating antisemitic protests on their campuses (at the time, antisemitism was rampant on these campuses). When asked a question by a Republican Committee member, GAY (althought almost certainly an antisemite) was too stupid to outright condemn antisemitism on her campus. She refused to say that chanting genocidal slogans would violate Harvard's Code of Conduct at the same time the Code regularly punished much more benign speech - this was when the "shit hit the fan.".
Incredibly, Claudine Gay was not kicked out of Harvard by the university's Board, rather they ruled that as Gay had tenure, she could stay at Harvard as a Professor on a $900,000/year salary.
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) bureaucracy that Gay helped build at Harvard represent a departure from academic merit and also a weapon for wielding in organisational combat. This DEI bureacracy remains intact at Harvard and throughout higher education. This is one reason there have been so many student protests/riots across so many American university campuses. Basically, it what you get when you lower academic standards for entry among the broad spectrum of "OPPRESSED" racial; ethnic; sexual, etc; identities- namely 3rd-rate faculty ( e.g. from the West Congo; Eskimos and female cannibals from tribes of head-hunters in Papua New Guinea or ignorant Muslims who hate America).

Marxism has mutated over the years since 1844, but here's the rub...the CORE, FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES of Karl Marx's (economic) Marxism are essentially the same in the modern versions of (cultural) Marxism that have developed in America to date; and I'll briefly explain this below.
I don't think that ordinary Americans are very impressed at all by the the series of pro-terrorist, antisemitic protests that are currently erupting on campuses in the US (in particular the presence of Muslim activists shouting "Death to America") It is a disgraceful spectacle especially where it takes place on the campuses of Yale, and Harvard - schools that were once the pride of the nation. Equally appalling has been the craven cowardice these universities have displaced in refusing the clamp-down decisively on the rabble that are humiliating and degrading these schools.
I think that the debacle involving Claudine Gay has given momentum to the idea that the radical Left has over-played it's hand in the implementation of DEI ideology, and the giant DEI bureaucracy is now vulnerable to a full-frontal attack by what will hopefully be a new, conservative, TRUMP administration in 2025.
DEI IDEOLOGY IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS - ITS OBJECTIVE IS TO TAKE DOWN AMERICA
The real problem in American Higher Education is that DEI ideology is , in fact, just a costume. It is a way of "dressing up" the real cause that activate the partisans, namely: THE TAKE DOWN OF AMERICAN LIBERTY AND INDEPENDENCE. When it is properly understood, DEI is all about extending state power, making it unaccountable, and claiming both intellectual and moral authority for doing so.
