I used the word "radically" because the study said that children adopted from poor into upper middle class homes scored 12 (?) points better, which is a pretty significant change on most IQ tests.

Social strata my foot! Heck I growed up poor and it didn't hurt my IQ none, did it?

Now go look at that Waterhead fellar now. He probably had rich parents, good vittles and lots of em and a good solid roof to sleep under and Parents who, god knows why, actually cared for the homely little crumb snatcher. Now facterin in that he probably went to some purty good schools and you'd have to judge that it'd be close to a miracle for him to still be dumber than a cigar box full of coal, which he is.
