How To Buy A Gun Anonymously

how about that. a country where a private citizen can buy something from another private citizen and the government has no say in it. maybe there is a little freedom left in parts of this country.

you'll first need to explain how my right to keep and bear arms infringes on ANYONE elses rights.

It's not....but selling them without a background check does. You even said yourself that the majority if gun owners have a moral compass.....what about the ones that don't? Especially when it's perfectly legal.

simply saying that something violates your rights, does not make it so. I asked you to explain, so how does NOT conducting a background check on someone buying something from me violate your right and what right would it be violating?

Criminals will not abide by background checks, they just steal guns if they need to, or use another weapon, they are CRIMINALS they don't care about laws.

Huh. You say that all the time. Does it apply to you?

No...they'll just continue buying their guns from the "responsible" gun owners in the back halls of gun shows.

Would you, or Billy, sell a gun to someone at a gun show if he offered you more money?

The gun debate is all about where you draw the line on the right to bear arms. Do you draw the line at assault rifles or Tactical Nuclear Weapons?

Does the benefit of a background check outweigh the benefit or not?

Almost all of American law is about a ballance of rights and defining the priority of rights that interfere with eachother.

A womans right to an abortion ends where the fetus's right to live becomes more important.
My right to drive a car as fast as I want ends where my speed puts others at unreasonable risk.
My right to run a business out of my home ends where the neighbors right to not be bothered by traffic becomes more important.
My right to masterbate where ever I choose ends when others right to be free from witnessing it becomes more important.
My right to sell food ends where the chance of poisioning people becomes more important.

Almost all law is a ballance of rights.

Buying a gun anonymously is not much more difficult then buying drugs. You just have to know one person or know an area of town where they are prevalent and you can find one.

Yeah, but buying drugs is illegal and when you do it you are engaging in criminal activity (in most cases). As far as I know, you can legally purchase a gun anonymously.

This is the weakest argument ever. The fact that you can use it to argue against pretty much any criminal law ever should tell you something.

Murders won't abide murder laws so no sense making murder illegal!
