How Israel was secure under the TRUMP Administration

below 4% enrichment.

We eliminated Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al Muhandis (and Abu Bakr al Baghdadi). No war.

The results? Iran isolated under crippling sanctions reducing their capacity to threaten the region, and historic peace brokered
between Israel and it's neighbors via the Abraham Accords.

Two years after Biden took office Iran is enriching over 60%, they're two weeks from sufficient material for a nuclear weapon,
Sudan fell into a civil war, and Israel just experienced the greatest loss of life in a single day since the holocaust.

In seeking to avoid conflict, it is upon us. By embracing our enemy and spurning our friends it will not be easily contained.
This should never have happened.

The Biden Administration's first instinct was appeasement. And that weakness is how this war started in the first place.

Any of you Trump haters ready to admit that Trump has done more for our Mid East ally in Israel than any or all of our presidents combined? Are you also ready to admit that Biden and Obama did more to appease and profit the world's #1 terrorist nation of Iran who is the nation responsible for these Nazi-terrorists attack on Israel? And are you also ready to admit that the dem Party as whole(including the anti Semite squad) has little or no respect for the Jewish nation?

The IDF knows this is true. They are massing troops to roll through Gaza like a steam roller.

Moving the embassy from Tel Avis to Jerusalem was beyond stupid,
but supporting Israel was proper.

Both sides are obviously bad guys, but the Israelis are OUR bad guys.
They don't knock down our skyscrapers.

As Republicans try to link President Joe Biden’s release of $6 billion of frozen Iranian money as part of a prisoner swap to the weekend terrorist attack on Israel, they continue to ignore the documented damage done to that country’s security by the de facto leader of their party, Donald Trump.

Less than four months into his term, the coup-attempting former president was bragging to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Ambassador Sergei Kislyak during their Oval Office visit about the quality of the briefings he was receiving, and as proof offered details about a secret Israeli intelligence operation into Syria.
Israeli intelligence officials were incensed upon learning of the leak because, given Russia’s close ties to Iran and Syria, they had to assume that their local source for the information had been compromised and possibly killed, according to Israeli press accounts at the time.

“If indeed Trump, out of innocence or ignorance, leaked information to the Russians, then there is a real danger to sources that it took years to acquire, and to our working methods,” an Israeli intelligence source told journalist Ronen Bergman.

Shabtai Shavit, who led the Mossad intelligence agency in the 1990s, told the Times of Israel: “If tomorrow I were asked to pass information to the CIA, I would do everything I could to not pass it to them. Or I would first protect myself and only then give it, and what I’d give would be totally neutered.”
Despite this, not one of the candidates running against Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination has criticized Trump for his lack of discretion, even as they uniformly attack Biden for unfreezing $6 billion in Iranian money that had been held in a South Korean bank. Their attacks link that decision with the assault on Israel by the militant group Hamas.

The Biden administration has defended the release of the money as a way to help get five American citizens who had been unjustly detained in Iran back home. Officials point out that the money can only be spent for food, medicine and other humanitarian purposes. Republicans critics argue that money is fungible, and that saving $6 billion on food and medicine allows Iran to spend it on terrorism instead.

President Biden showed what leadership looks like. All the trumpers here are small, hateful, ignorant fearful little men. Joe Biden is a statesman. I am proud to have voted for him and will proudly do so again. The contrast is stark and revealing.
 
I think this attack was a long time in the planning and that neither Trump or Biden's actions, or inactions, had much to do with it. Instead, I think Hamas carefully observed how Israel responded to rocket attacks and other actions they did along with observing to the extent they could the IDF's operations on the Gaza border and how internal security and civilian forces were disposed.

They massed the necessary materials and forces to carry out the attack, husbanding resources by not using them piecemeal. When everything was in place, and a good time was chosen, they launched their attack. It's that simple. From Hamas' point of view, they have always been at war with Israel. This is just their latest offensive, and was planned to be successful in whatever the goals they had in mind were. Again from Hamas' perspective, they may well see this attack as a success regardless of the losses they suffer in return.

You have to realize that Hamas is into some really fucked up thinking...
