Jack Cashill, author of the charmingly insane book Deconstructing Obama, claims to have unearthed yet another shocking bombshell about Barack Obama's past. According to Cashill's WorldNetDaily column this morning, this photo of young Barack Obama and his grandparents in New York is a forgery into which Obama has been photoshopped:

Cashill writes: "The bench is real. The grandparents are real. The wall behind them is real. Barack Obama is not. He has been conspicuously photoshopped in. Who did this and why remains as much a mystery as Obama's extended stay in New York." He embeds a YouTube video that claims to have uncovered the "real" photo, seen below, in which Obama is nowhere to be seen:

Actually, to say Obama is "nowhere to be seen" isn't quite accurate, given that the young future president's right knee is still somehow visible in the "real" photo:

So yeah: Jack Cashill is a clownish buffoon. Be sure to tell that to the hosts of Fox & Friends the next time they have him on national television. Also, drop a line to Andrew Breitbart, who is quite enamored of Cashill's "convincing work."

I'd say it's about on par with the Left's hatred of Bush, Reagan, and Nixon and the Right's hatred of Clinton.

This is up there with the whole "Clinton had Vince Foster killed" hysteria, but I have never seen anyone go to the lengths someone has to try and discredit President Obama.

Now we've got Trump claiming he's got private Investigators digging into Obama's background and claiming that they've uncovered some as yet unnamed bit of trouble for Obama.

Funny though how when asked for details, Trump wouldn't elaborate.

People are letting their hate get the best of them.

Good to see you agree w/ epic and finally admit that it's "on par" with Bush. For a long time, you've been whining - and I mean REALLY whining - that Bush got it much worse than Obama.

I read Media Matters, not the World Net Daily. Please provide proof that Media Matters is a fringe site. Thanks Just because it is progressive does not mean it is fringe.

You're gonna kill me for saying this, but you really do have reading issues. I didn't "finally" as in "you're finally agreeing with epic;" I said it as in, "you're finally admitting that Bush hate is on par w/ Obama hate."

Go back to the post; count to 10, so you can get out of frantic, hyperventilating mode, and read it slowly a couple of times. It really isn't that hard.

I didn't say you hated me. I am really starting to worry about that reading thing; I'm sorry if it's repetitive.
