America tolerates rates of early death well beyond those of other rich countries

According to a study by Jessica Ho of the University of Southern California, published last year, which looked at 18 high-income countries, from a fairly average position in 1980, by 2018 America had fallen to dead last on life expectancy. In the 1960s Americans could expect to live seven or eight years longer than people from Portugal, the country in the study that now has the next-lowest life expectancy. By 2018 they could expect to live over a year less. Areas like eastern Kentucky, which have been worst hit, help illustrate why.

Well, that's a consequence of moving to the Left politically. There is a long and large body of evidence that shows that the most socialist, theistic and communist nations have lower life expectancies than freer, more open societies.

...we test whether deep cultural ancestry predicts the United Nations Human Development Index (HDI) for 44 Eurasian countries, using language ancestry as a proxy for cultural relatedness and controlling for three additional factors—geographical proximity, religion and former communism. While cultural ancestry alone predicts HDI and its subcomponents (income, health and education indices), when geographical proximity is included only income and health indices remain significant and the effect is small. When communism and religion variables are included, cultural ancestry is no longer a significant predictor; communism significantly negatively predicts HDI, income and health indices, and Muslim percentage of the population significantly negatively predicts education index...

Some socialism mixed with a capitalist economy helps, but it isn't a panacea. This what helped Europe with longer life expectancies, moving away from heavy-handed socialism towards a capitalist economy with some social-welfare state mixed in.

The article is also mostly referring to drug deaths, most of which flow through our open border with Mexico.

If you want to raise the life expectancy you need to shut down border crossings.

This isn't rocket science here.

I suspect you don't put a lot of thought into many things.

The COVID Death Jabs contribute a lot to this.

And our super expensive shit medical system.

And the collapse of America.

Buckle Up.

Remember that when Russia collapsed in the 90's (in no small part because of Western misconduct) life expectancy for men declined something like 15 years almost instantly.
