Hello again friends. I have a simple question and I want answers from both sides here. When our grand children are taught about the first African-american to become elected What will they teach about the man himself? Tell me how he will be remembered in your opinion and for what reasons.

Probably will depend both on his reelection and the years following. If we go into good years(here's hoping, no matter which way you lean) he'll be viewed favorably, even more so if he's reelected. If he isn't releected or if the years following just trundle along, he'll fade into memory, his only claim to fame being the first black president, which in itself should not be enough to distinguish him any more than the first catholic, muslim or latino president. You guys know the second two are bound to happen eventually.

Beyond that, in history classes, it will probably depend on which way our foreign policy goes. We could screw things up in very big ways very easily right now. But that's not the topic.
