If Hillary's for the children, why does she continue to support public unions and oppose charter schools outside the public school system?

This is further proof that Hillary is full of it and she wants to keep low income minorities at the public trough for life.
 
I've seen her speeches to the teachers union. Translated they said I've got your back and will work with you to make sure the status quo remains in education results be damned.

Unlike Trump who is only for children if they are RICH children, Hillary supports ALL CHILDREN.

Minority poor kids are stuck in run down government schools in low income neighborhoods because the neighborhoods have very low tax bases and they cannot escape them and go to charter schools.

So again, why is Hillary supporting public unions instead of charter schools outside the public system if she's supposed to be .. 'for the children'?

Because greedy Republicans refuse to properly fund public schools.

Their plan all along has been to strangle the public school system to death until we the people have no choice but to allow school choice.

This is a predictable and facile answer. Leaving aside the school problems in states dominated by Democrats there is zero accountability in a statement like that. As long as schools don't perform just blame it on a lack of funding. Get more funding and still don't perform? Claim it wasn't enough funding. It's brainless.

Technology and software is changing the whole world around us but somehow we want our education system to be stuck in an old 20th century model immune from disruption.

Ahh haaa .. yea, blame republicans. That doesn't deter the fact that your public unions .. especially the NEA opposes chartered schools.

Is this what you tell poor families who want their kids going to chartered schools? It's the republicans who wont let your kids go to them?

In another thread a poster whines that DC spends more per student on a predominately black school district, yet it's one of the worst performing school districts in the country. He opines that proves that it is because blacks are intellectually inferior. My response is that the only mental inferiority is the elected officials that spend all this money and don't require accountability.

From your post you seem to agree with the racist, that money spent should equate with results.
 
in Florida we started giving schools letter grades ( A,B,C.D.F) based on end of year test score and graduation rates.
It shot us way up from way below the median states ratings. Part of it was voucher -part school choice.

There are still problems -like charter schools not performing,but on the whole education is much better
 
Rereading this thread is good for a laugh. Hillary cares about ALL children. And Republicans don't fund schools. Even in states that democrats dominate republicans still don't fund them. Damn them
