High tax California and Massachusetts do well with large valued companies.

Depends of what your definition of "do well" is. Both states give huge corporate tax breaks, relief, change zoning and environmental laws and use tax payers money to build additional infrastructure to attract these companies. Guess who pays for all that? The taxpayers. Hence the reason they are high tax states. The two biggest liberal states in this country who bitch the most about corporatism support it more than anyone else on the back of the average taxpayer.

High tax California has the highest poverty rate in the country. Is the argument here correlation?

I am sure that there is a point in there somewhere GayRod.

Of course their high homeless rate is probably a good thing too right?
