Hezbollah: 'Idiotic' U.S. Strikes on Syria Serve Israel and Its 'Regional Ambitions'


Syrian opposition applauds strikes on Assad regime targets


Lebanese Shi'ite group Hezbollah said on Friday a U.S. cruise missile strike on a Syrian airbase was an "idiotic step" which would lead to "great and dangerous tensions" in the Middle East.
Hezbollah, which supports Syrian President Bashar Assad in the six-year-old conflict, said in a statement the strike would not demoralize the Syrian army or negatively affect its allies.
The U.S. military action was a "service" to Israel and its "ambitions in the region," Hezbollah added, without elaborating.*

Right enough. Israel is looking to occupy large tracts of Syria as ' buffer zones '.
You'd have to be really, really stupid to think that any ' buffer zone ' would do you any good in today's modern warfare strategies. No- it's simply another exercise in neoZionist hegemonic opportunism.

How could Israel occupying Syria be such a bad thing, when the other two choices are Putin's puppet [the real one, not Trump] or ISIS?

But if Israel wants a buffer zone in Syria, by all means, they should go for it. Beats the other two alternatives.

Such a buffer zone would only be possible as a result of total warfare in Syria- and if that should come about there won't be any Israel left to occupy anyplace.
