Well its wrong to say that children shouldnt attend a parade where homo pda is the centerpiece of the event, according to the media.
I just wonder if all the homo advocates would be as upset if someone said children shouldnt attend a hetero parade where scantily clad grinding was occuring.

and not all gay pride parades are simply grinding half naked people....if people don't want to take their kids to a gay pride parade, then they should have that say....i'm wondering if this happened in SF with a school or something

So yurt, now that you're caught up, would it be wrong to say children shouldn't watch heteros bumping and grinding? Or is adult sexuality fine for children to view as long as it's gay?

Paladino said it's not appropriate to take children to see gay people grind on each other in a parade. And the media is saying that's a homophobic statement.
I'm asking if it would be heterophobic to say it's inappropriate to take children to see straight adults grind on each other.

he said those exact words? if he said those exact words and he is in fact talking about certain parades where that happens, then the media is stupid as usual....if, however, he is saying that as a general remark about all gay parades then is a fuckign moron and possibly hates homosexuals, though i can't say whether he fears them
and it would be inappropriate accordign to most people's standards and even R rated standards....though some may be considered PG 13

I think there are some gay pride parades that are certainly inappropriate for young children. I also think there are gay pride parades that are very family friendly.
Like anything else, you have to figure out what kind of an event you are attending. The Mardis Gras parade in Eunice Louisianna is very family friendly. Some of the parades in Nawlins would make sailors blush.

Sorry SM i really should remember who i'm dealing with.
"Drafting" as in drawing up laws which made homosexuality illegal. There was quite a lot of that over the 200 year period i alluded to. Therefore when you asked who was stopping homosexuals doing the gay thing i thought this may have been pertinent.
