One reason Trump won’t participate in any GOP primary debate, especially the early debates, is because Christie will be on stage. Trump knows he would destroy him just like he did Rubio in 2015

Trump Doesn't need to debate because the primary is already over and your grotesquely obese hero will not be on stage.


And to take part in the debates, the Republican presidential candidates will also need to sign a pledge supporting the eventual GOP nominee.

Glad I scrolled down because that's almost exactly what my response was going to be. Trump thinks that "debate" means out-bellowing the other candidates. Betcha Christie could out-bellow him... and still make his point.
