Trust me, you don't. And I wouldn't call it fortunate, but I have the benefit of youth.

You have the confidence of youth to be sure, but you have no idea of what I have done and where I have been during my life. I am fortunate because I can now choose to live where there are no winters as such. My choice. When you are a little older I hope you, too, have the same opportunity.

Well I did stay in Finland for a little while. Just long enough to see and just long enough to realise I did not like 2.5 metres of snow on the roof and the necessity of plugging ones car into a heater every evening and every time one parked. Neither did I much like being awoken in mid summer by road menders at 3.00 am!
Now I do not possess even a scarf. I like that.

It was supposed to be MT, as in the state of Montana. Winter is a rather long and...exciting time there. And of course it was that sort of argument, it should have been inferred from the beginning.
