If a person engages in risky behaviors - overeating, refusing to exercise, using drugs that cause bodily harm, drinking to excess, etc. - are they, or the rest of the marketplace liable for their health care costs?

You left off homosexuality, why should I pay extra for their risky behaviors of gays for not using condoms.

The federal budget request for fiscal year (FY) 2011 included a total of $20.4 billion for domestic HIV and AIDS, a 4% increase from the FY 2010 funding, which totaled $19.6 billion. Of this, 69 percent is for care, 14 percent for research, 13 percent for cash and housing assistance, and 4 percent for prevention.

So you agree that risky behaviors should not be subsidized?

What about subsidizing Wall Street, that was/is risky behavior, it is just a more acceptable form of gambling!
