My Congressional Rep, Cory Gardner, chose to pay more for an individual family plan because it was allowed... What he got was a canceled plan, and the one replacing it 100% more expensive...

Instead of "woe is me" he's working on creating a conversation on Obamacare.

Your Rep. can't blame his ignorance on anyone other than himself. I'm very glad he is now ready to converse concerning the tremendous advantages and benefits of the ACA or Obamacare. There is a lot there for him to smack himself around for. In addition to Obamacare there is still his congressionally provided system which is exempted from the ACA because it meets or exceeds the minimum requirements of Obamacare. Hooray!!!!! Each day a few more learn the hard way!!!!!!! Fug 'em.

The story smells bogus in the first place....He's in Congress, a federal worker getting the Lamborghini of all medical coverages and hes buying private insurance for
some reason ?.....that don't compute.

BTW, my wife and kids insurance company tried to pull the same shit on them, she said, that's okay, Ill just wait until October 1 and shop around for a better deal. Then all the sudden the came up with a huge group of other better options for them.

Pretty much every prediction of mine has come true.... That it would cause insurance prices to rise, check. That it would cause companies to drop hours so they don't have to cover them, check. That it would cause companies to drop many onto the exchanges that normally would have had insurance, check. That it would cause an increase in cost, check.

Can't wait to get to the rest of my predictions. This was designed to fail and force us onto the bureaucratic nightmare that almost killed a 10 year old girl just a few months ago, if it wasn't for the intervention of one judge the bureaucrats would have won and she'd be dead today.. (x). You should celebrate, but then your side lost on that one...

This healthcare law is a debacle, there are better ways to ensure you, as in Jarod, get coverage without having to deal with this dressed up hog.

Your have created an imaginary self fulfilling prophecy. Prices have not gone up, the insurance companies are trying to make it look that way, but if you negotiate with them you will see its untrue. You are claiming all this happened when the law has not even been put into effect yet. And it had nothing to do with this little girl whose life you so callously use as a political football, there were no sides in that case. I was happy to see that she lived, and Obamacare had nothing to do with the danger she faced, or the policy that was going to keep her from getting the care she needed. Sadly she took two organs to save one life, when those two could have saved two lives.
