A series of contests for donors to Donald Trump’s election campaign to win a prize of sharing breakfast, lunch or dinner with the US president have been condemned as a “fraud”.

Media reports this week have cast doubt on whether the competitions produce real winners, fueling speculation that Trump, accused of swindling the public in past ventures such as Trump University, is at it again.

Richard Painter, former White House ethics lawyer, spoke out amid deepening questions over the fundraising lotteries that, so far, the Trump campaign has been unable to answer.

“I’ve received dozens of these fundraising emails,” said Painter, who was George W Bush’s ethics counsel for two years. “If they have lunch or dinner, then it’s OK. If not, then it’s fraud. I’ve seen no proof that they actually happen.”

Honestly? I thought the FEC had some 'rules'. I mean fucking dinner--even at McDonalds to be LEGAL--would be too much to ASSUME of this asshole? Hell, what a great photo op. Have the dinner and shoot out 60 million more pleas for $$ with the winners picture. He's also a fucking idiot for not doing it for THAT reason.

Painter is a REP and was BUSH ethics lawyer. Yeah, I know isn't that irony! After I first started seeing this guy, I wonder if he had to sign off on the torture memos. But I digress. Painter is TRUMP'S worst REP nightmare as a commentator. And he is loud.

There were 15 contests that Trumpies ran with a dinner with Daffy as the prize. Nobody got a dinner. Perhaps it was at Trump University? Maybe they were waiting for Trump steaks?
Trump has no respect for the little people and is a germaphobe. It was never going to happen.

Oh, provide it. Trump did not have dinner with them. Even you can figure out Trump is a TV pro. If he had a dinner he would have had it all over TV trying to pretend that he likes the little people. It would work on you. But Trump will not sink to that level. He would get dirty if he touched a poor or average person.
