I don't talk religion with most humans I meet.
I know my beliefs will likely be hard for them to feel neutral about.
I'm an atheist.
My beliefs basically say I believe what you hold in your heart dear is fantasy.
I have been one since I was in my early teens.
there are more like me now then back when I came to these beliefs.
I have had many friends who didn't share my beliefs.
I have kids I half raised ( neighbor kids who spent HOURS a day with me for years) who are very devout Christians.
they knew all their life my beliefs.
one of the phrases I say all the time is "religion does a lot of people a lot of good".
"I can not believe what I cant believe".
I have often asked a friend or conversation company "would you want me to pretend to believe".
face that people are NEVER going to all believe the same thing.
face that insisting everyone believe the same as you is inanity and self promoting evil
