july 6 2020 NASCAR’s only black driver Bubba Wallace on Monday denounced “HATE from the POTUS” after President Trump suggested that Wallace apologize for saying he was the victim of a hate crime.

Wallace’s teammates this year reported an apparent noose in his garage stall that the FBI later determined was not a hate crime and had been in place there since October 2019. He was not the source of the original claim.

“All the haters are doing is elevating your voice and platform to much greater heights,” Wallace wrote, calling for people to “always deal with the hate being thrown at you with LOVE!”

“Even when it’s HATE from the POTUS.. Love wins,” Wallace wrote.
