Haitians Add Felony Charge To Their Criminal Complaint Against Trump, Vance
The Haitian Bridge Alliance — the organization that recently called for the arrest of Donald Trump and JD Vance over their “unrelenting lies” that Haitian people are in the U.S. illegally and are eating their neighbors' pets in Springfield, Ohio — has upped the ante with a new amendment to their existing criminal complaint.The amendment, filed on Sept. 30, adds a felony charge related to inducing panic after Vance said he was willing to “create stories” so the media “pays attention.” The First Amendment is not a defense to those remarks, they argue, since it is illegal in Ohio to knowingly circulate false reports of impending crime.
Under Ohio law, private citizens are permitted to file an affidavit asking the courts to find probable cause that alleged offenders have committed a crime.
