those corporations had a very powerful entity that assisted with their 'rape'. can you guess who it was? and yes, had we citizens had equal firepower to that assistant entity, we would have been able to prevent that. we'll never be 'allowed' to be that equal though because too many Americans buy in to the notion that the government is the 'only one' who should have a monopoly on violence.

The highlighted statement is only your supposition. She could have just as easily gone to the kitchen and gotten a butcher knife and stabbed him to death. At the beginning of this post I posted 3 different stories about murder suicides involving stabbings. There were hundreds of them but I only posted three. I invite you to do the search yourself. Lack of guns does not guarentee that people do not die in their house by their spouse's hand. You make an argument from emotion and not logic. Lack of Gun does not equal no death. 2/3's of all murders in this country are committed WITHOUT a gun.
 
STY touched on it but I want you to point out to me how the laws that have banned guns have made people in Chicago or DC any safer? People in those cities have been victimized repeatedly by mostly young men with guns who don't give one good goddamn about laws. They shoot and kill with impunity and no law on the books stops it. the Laws and the police are not here to protect individuals, they are here to protect society at large and no cop is going to be able to do anything in most cases except gather evidence to help put away the murderer.

this is pure pukification of NRA talking points. Hey wordsmith, why is England and France soo much smarter than us in being able to have 3x lower murder rates.:pke:

because decent citizens get prosecuted for defending themselves, so criminals don't need to worry about killing their victims. they roll right over for them.

That is absolutely correct .. and having a gun in the home increases the possibility that someonje will get killed over a moment of passion.
