So a 19 year old girl with mental health issues....

Authorities knew she:

Posts online about how she will pull an Columbine.....
She talks about school shootings extensively and makes threats.
She talks about the 20 year anniversary of this school shooting coming up.
Days before the anniversary she fly's from Miami to Denver.
She took an Uber to the town close to the High School...

And then GOES into a GUN STORE and LEGALLY buys a gun and ammunition.

Authorities have the ability to cancel school for over half a million kids, yet cant stop her from legally buying a gun?

Does that sound reasonable? Does that sound like what was intended by the 2nd Amendment?

What "authorities" knew anything?

So the guys who run NICS? Yeah, they could easily, EASILY have flagged her. But they didn't. So maybe try blaming the continuous mounting failures of the agency rather than the basic rights of individuals.

She was flagged. She walked into a gun store and walked out with one.

Then she wasn't fucking flagged or that didn't happen. Do you even know what is a NICS or FFL?

I do... I do not think they had time from when they found out about the flight to get her flagged before the gun was purchased. But she was flagged after buying the gun, that's how they found out about it. A waiting period would have made a difference.

Counter factual and speculative.
