DENVER (AP) -- Atheists are providing pamphlets on topics like sex in the Bible, problems with the Ten Commandments and a Satanic activity book to middle and high school students in a rural Colorado district.

Another Pickens Academy teacher is in the county jail on the same charge his wife was arrested for two days ago.

The Pickens County Sheriff's Office confirms James "Jamie" Franklin Parker, 32, was charged with having sex with a student under the age of 19.

Parker teaches math and coaches basketball and football, according to the private school's website and the Alabama Independent School Association.

Pickens County District Attorney Chris McCool said the arrest is the result of an ongoing investigation by the Pickens County Sheriff's Office. The victim in this case is a former female student. McCool said none of the criminal sexual activity occurred at the school.

McCool expects more charges to be filed against Parker. The investigation is still ongoing.

Authorities confirm he is married to Charli Jones Parker, who was arrested on the same charge.

She also teaches at Pickens Academy and is head coach for the girls' basketball team. She is accused of having sex with a male student.

Clallam County sheriff's detectives arrested 55-year-old Douglas J. Allison after two young girls -- ages 10- and 11-years old -- came forward to say Allison had sexually assaulted them at the Mountain View Christian School, according to the sheriff's office.

Allison, who is a teacher at the school as well as the principal, was booked into the Clallam County Corrections Facility where a judge set bail at $100,000.

Charging documents say Allison admitted to touching the girls during a phone conversation with one victim's mother. Investigators listened with the mother's permission and used the information to obtain a search warrant for the suspect's cell phone.

After arresting Allison at his home, he allegedly confessed to officers.

Associate Pastor Collette Pekar of knows the victims and their families, who attend services.

She also teaches bible study one-day-a-week at Mountain View.

"We love our kids," said Pekar.

Most Satanists don't actually worship the Satan character. They just use it for it's impact. The atheist groups team with them because it shows the pitfalls of bringing religious views into the schools.
