Green Party

So... what I've gathered from this little exchange is that you all follow the party, instead of the individuals and their voting record or particular stance on any issue? This saddens me.

Why? Is there something immoral about the partisan system as opposed to the nonpartisan system? Ridiculous. It's completely and totally arbitrary to say that one is preferable to another. One's just more complicated and leaves the legislature less accountable. Get off your self righteous high horse. If you want to vote for the person and not the party, VOTE FOR AN INDEPENDENT, and prepare to get nothing done.

Thats your opinion of it. Mine is that they are providing a service that I need.I see socialized medicine as a good thing.
Then move to a State that has it. The Constitution doesn't give the Feds the power to provide that service, and to do so infringes on my right not to have to pay for it.

This from the same guy who will sit back and rail against corporations because of collusion, unfair business practices and tax havens that preclude the consumer, the little guy from real freedom of choice. But label it a political party that does the exact same thing, and he's grabbin his heels. Pathetic.

But corporations are like the evilz dude. The only good party is the communist/socialist/liberal/green/trendy, all the OTHERS are bad.

A political party is the political equivalent of a corporation. It's not immoral to require your employees to submit non-disclosure agreements, it's not immoral to fire them for benefiting another corporation and damaging the one they're part of. You guys act like it's wrong for parties to do anything but allow their politicians to work as if they were independents. IMHO, if they wanted to be independents, they should have signed they box when they asked to participate the in the election.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander then you moron.

How about it? All you liberals who are dissatisfied with the moderate status quo in the democrat party. Give the Green party another chance?

The Green Party should follow Howard Dean's lead as to getting it's message out to the voters for support.

IMHO, by the time the general public realizes that their are alternatives to the Dems and GOP, and that they have the power to force that change at the ballot box, it will be too late.

I hope I'm wrong....
