GPA Redistribution?

College Students started a campaign to "redistribute" GPA... take someone who has a 4.0... do they really need that 4.0? Isn't that "excessive?" So why not take some of their 4.0, which is more than they really need, and give it to students who are struggling to meet graduation requirements? Shouldn't we want to help those people? And after all, you don't really NEED a 4.0 GPA, do you?
