I get the feeling a lot of people here are dependent on the government for income.

Me personally, not directly. I get the odd feeling that if the government is shutdown too long, somehow it will effect my income, but who really knows.

This level of dysfunction looks a lot like the years before the Civil War.....and you know how that turned out.
